Montreux

Montreux is situated in a protected bay of Lac Léman, surrounded by vineyards. Montreux is called “capital of the Riviera of the canton Vaud”, because of the mild climate. The promenade stretching between Vevey, Montreux and Castle Chillon is ideal for a beautiful walk. Montreux’ international claim to fame is based on the annual Montreux Jazz Festival.
